By accessing or using Cafiot, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Cafiot is a crowd-powered media authenticity platform that allows users to report and view community opinions on whether online content (videos, images, audio, articles, links) may be AI-generated, fake, misleading, or scam-related.

Cafiot does not verify facts, certify content, or guarantee accuracy. All scores and indicators are derived from user-generated reports and votes.

  1. No Professional or Legal Advice

Information provided by Cafiot:

  • Is for informational purposes only
  • Does not constitute legal, journalistic, financial, medical, or professional advice
  • Should not be relied upon as a sole source of truth

Users are solely responsible for how they interpret and use the information displayed.

  1. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Cafiot reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

  1. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, malicious, or misleading reports intentionally
  • Manipulate voting or reporting systems
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
  • Upload illegal, harmful, or defamatory material
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the platform
  • Use Cafiot for unlawful purposes

Violation may result in suspension or permanent termination.

  1. Crowd Reporting Disclaimer
  • All authenticity scores are community-generated
  • Scores reflect opinions, not factual determinations
  • Cafiot does not independently verify user submissions
  • Content labeled as “AI-generated” or “fake” may still be real
  • Content labeled as “real” may later be proven false

Cafiot disclaims all liability arising from reliance on crowd-based outputs.

  1. Third-Party Content & Links

Cafiot allows users to submit links to third-party platforms (e.g., social media, news websites).

Cafiot:

  • Does not host or control third-party content
  • Is not responsible for accuracy, legality, or availability of external content
  • Does not endorse any third-party views or materials

Access to third-party content is at your own risk.

  1. Intellectual Property

All Cafiot software, trademarks, logos, designs, and content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by or licensed to Cafiot.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the Services without prior written permission.

  1. User-Generated Content

By submitting reports, votes, or comments, you grant Cafiot a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, process, display, and analyze such content to operate and improve the Services.

You confirm you have the right to submit such content.

  1. Payments & Subscriptions
  • Some features require paid subscriptions
  • Payments are processed by Google Play Store / Apple App Store
  • Subscription terms, billing cycles, and refunds are governed by the respective app store policies

Cafiot does not store payment card details.

  1. Advertisements

Free users may see advertisements.
Premium users may receive an ad-free experience.

Cafiot is not responsible for third-party advertiser content.

  1. Termination

Cafiot may suspend or terminate your access:

  • For violations of these Terms
  • For suspected fraud or abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • At its sole discretion

Termination does not limit Cafiot’s legal rights.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Cafiot shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, revenue, reputation, or business
  • Decisions made based on Cafiot’s crowd-based outputs
  • Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in user reports

Use of the Services is at your own risk.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cafiot, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your submitted content
