This Refund & Subscription Policy explains how subscriptions, payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled for Cafiot (“we”, “our”, “us”), including its mobile application, web platform, and related services (“Services”).

This Policy supplements our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

  1. Subscription Plans

Cafiot offers both free and paid subscription plans, which may include:

  • Consumer premium plans (ad-free, extended usage)
  • Business and enterprise plans (SaaS features)
  • In-app purchases processed via:
    • Google Play Store
    • Apple App Store

Subscription features, pricing, and limits are clearly displayed at the time of purchase.

  1. Billing & Payments

2.1 App Store Billing

All in-app purchases and subscriptions on mobile devices are:

  • Processed by Google Play or Apple App Store
  • Subject to the respective app store’s billing terms
  • Charged to the payment method associated with the user’s store account

Cafiot does not collect or store payment card details.

  1. Auto-Renewal

Unless canceled, subscriptions may automatically renew at the end of the billing cycle.

Users are responsible for managing auto-renewal settings through:

  • Google Play Store account settings
  • Apple App Store subscription settings
  1. Cancellation Policy

4.1 How to Cancel

Users may cancel subscriptions at any time via:

  • Google Play Store → Subscriptions
  • Apple App Store → Subscriptions

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4.2 Effect of Cancellation

  • Access to premium features continues until the end of the billing cycle
  • No partial refunds are issued for unused time, unless required by law

5.1 App Store Refunds

Refunds for in-app purchases are governed by:

  • Google Play Store Refund Policy
  • Apple App Store Refund Policy

Cafiot does not directly process refunds for mobile app subscriptions.

Users must request refunds through the respective app store.

  1. Web & SaaS Subscriptions (If Applicable)

For subscriptions purchased directly through Cafiot’s website or enterprise agreements:

  • Refund eligibility, if any, will be governed by the specific agreement
  • Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable
  • Enterprise contracts may include custom terms
  1. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Subscriptions provide access to features and insights, not guaranteed outcomes.

Cafiot does not guarantee:

  • Accuracy of crowd-generated scores
  • Detection of all AI-generated or fake content
  • Prevention of misinformation exposure

Refunds are not provided based on dissatisfaction with informational results.

  1. Abuse & Fraud

Cafiot reserves the right to:

  • Deny refunds in cases of abuse, manipulation, or policy violations
  • Suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent activity
  1. Regional Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits statutory consumer rights under applicable laws, including:

  • EU / UK consumer protection laws
  • California consumer laws
  • Indian consumer protection laws

Where mandatory refunds are required by law, Cafiot will comply.

  1. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be updated periodically.
Updates will be reflected by a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of paid services constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

Important Clarification

Deleting your Cafiot account does not automatically cancel app store subscriptions.
